Ted Mathot grew up on a steady diet of Warner Brothers cartoons and comic books. He earned a BFA in Illustration from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) in Providence, Rhode Island and moved to California where he worked on The Simpsons, the Ren and Stimpy Show and at Hanna-Barbera and Dreamworks Feature Animation. He currently lives in San Francisco and works at Pixar Animation Studios where he has contributed as a storyboard artist to Monsters Inc., The Incredibles, Cars, Ratatouille, Presto, and Wall•E. In 2008, he won an Annie Award for his storyboard work on Ratatouille. His first graphic novel, Rose and Isabel was completed in 2006 and published in France in 2007 (Akiléos). He is currently working on a sequel, called Cora.
